As part of our expansion, we are currently seeking a dynamic Junior Planning Engineer with a background in Electrical Engineering to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Junior Planning Engineer – Electrical, you will be an integral part of our project management team, contributing to the planning and scheduling of projects in the Substation and Power Plant domains. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering coupled with 3 to 5 years of practical experience. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Projects software is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain project schedules.
- Utilize Primavera P6 and MS Projects software for effective project planning.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
- Prepare and update project reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Work closely with Electrical Engineers to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Provide support in resource allocation and cost estimation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Substation/Power Plant division.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Projects software.
- Gulf experience is an added advantage.
