We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate should possess a B.Com degree and have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates with prior GCC/Oman experience. A proven track record in managing accounts and finance operations, particularly within the construction and real estate industry for at least 6 years, is a prerequisite for this position.
Responsibilities: Accountant Job in Oman
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Ensure the implementation of proper accounting control procedures.
- Collaborate with the management team to strategize long-term business goals.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established regulations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
Requirements: Accountant Job in Oman
- B.Com degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Prior experience in the GCC/Oman region is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from 200 to 250 Omani Rial (OMR), depending on experience and qualifications.
- Accommodation and transportation will be provided.
- Standard working hours of 9 hours per day, 6 days a week.
