We have an urgent requirement for a Civil Engineer in Oman. The Civil Engineer should hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in the Powerplant Sector within the oil & gas division. Candidates with experience in OHL (Overhead Line) and Substation projects are preferred. The CVs are currently being shortlisted for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee civil engineering projects in the Powerplant Sector.
  • Ensure project adherence to specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges.
  • Review and approve project designs and plans.
  • Supervise construction activities and quality control.
  • Collaborate with other departments and engineering disciplines.
  • Prepare project reports and documentation.

Requirements:

  • BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in the Powerplant Sector in the oil & gas division.
  • Experience in OHL (Overhead Line) and Substation projects is preferable.
  • Proficiency in project management and coordination.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
