5. Communication: Reporting any concerns or issues regarding students promptly to both the driver and the appropriate school staff for necessary action.
6. Emergency Preparedness: Familiarizing yourself with school bus evacuation procedures and being physically capable of evacuating students in the event of an emergency, always putting their safety as the top priority.
7. Route Knowledge: Learning the bus route thoroughly and providing route information, including driver directions, to ensure efficient navigation, especially for substitute or newly assigned bus drivers.
8. Strategic Seating: Occupying a seat that offers the best vantage point for supervising students while the bus is in motion, further enhancing their safety.
