Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. As a Mechanical Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D software. The ideal candidate will have substantial GCC experience and the ability to work on design and drafting drawings for heavy lifting projects within the oilfield industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Utilize AutoCAD 2D/3D software to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for heavy lifting equipment and related projects.
2. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements and incorporate necessary design elements into the drawings.
3. Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations, adhering to the company’s quality and safety protocols.
4. Maintain and update drawing files, ensuring version control and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Familiarity with crane load charts, enabling accurate depiction of lifting capacities and limitations in the drafted designs.
6. Operate and manage the plotter cutting machine for creating stickers and related graphic materials required for the projects.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
2. A minimum of 4-5 years of GCC experience in Design & Drafting Drawings for Heavy Lifting is essential.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D software is a must, with a proven track record of creating precise and detailed technical drawings.
4. Extensive knowledge of crane load charts and their application in design projects.
5. Familiarity with operating plotter cutting machines for sticker production and graphic materials.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
