Key Responsibilities:

1. Engine Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on marine engines, including both diesel and petrol engines.
2. Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve engine maintenance issues promptly, considering immediate, medium, and long-term consequences to ensure vessel safety and performance.
3. Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance schedules to prevent unexpected downtime and extend the life of marine engines.
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in marine maintenance, specifically with diesel and petrol engines.
• Any educational qualification related to marine engineering or maintenance is acceptable.
