We are currently hiring a Quantity Surveyor for our Civil Construction Division. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of quantity surveying, including preparing tender and contract documents, analyzing bills of quantities, and performing cost control. The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in Engineering or Computer with designing software and at least 5+ years of experience in the same field. Knowledge of two and three-dimensional drawings is required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits with project engineers/supervisors to measure and understand customer requirements.
- Prepare prequalification documents.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Analyze costings and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
- Manage risk and value management and cost control.
- Advise on procurement strategy.
- Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Prepare the final account for projects.
- Experience in Joinery fit-out/Furniture is a plus.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Computer with designing software.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying in the construction field.
- Knowledge of two and three-dimensional drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of contractual and commercial aspects.
- Experience in Joinery fit-out/Furniture is a plus.
