A Laundry Supervisor is responsible for managing the overall daily operations of the laundry facility. The role involves ensuring that quality controls are in place for all laundry processes, maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry area, and handling customer service inquiries. As a Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for training, developing, and appraising the laundry team to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will manage stock takes, maintain par stocks, and oversee the issuing of linen through a requisition system. Adherence to Health and Safety Regulations is a vital part of this role. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the laundry facility.
- Implement and maintain quality controls for all laundry processes, ensuring no exceptions.
- Ensure the laundry area is kept clean and well-organized.
- Train, develop, and evaluate the performance of the laundry team.
- Conduct regular stock takes to manage inventory efficiently.
- Maintain par stocks to ensure a continuous supply of laundry items.
- Receive and safely store incoming stock.
- Address customer service issues promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee the issuance of linen through a requisition system.
- Ensure all team members comply with Health and Safety Regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a laundry or similar setting.
- Knowledge of laundry processes and quality control measures.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.

- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with stock management and inventory control.
