As an Assistant Manager, your primary objective is to work closely with the Manager to ensure the company operates within budget, meets planned targets, improves the work environment for increased efficiency, and handles customer queries effectively.

Essential Functions: Job Opportunity Assistant Manager in Bahrain

  • Supervising staff and shift leaders to maintain the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness while focusing on profitability.
  • Coordinating staff training with the training manager.
  • Promoting a cooperative and harmonious working relationship between the management team and crew members.
  • Handling HR issues, including disciplinary write-ups, as they arise.
  • Conducting staff meetings as needed to discuss operational procedures and promotions.
  • Conducting weekly inventories.
  • Managing payroll to meet company labor cost standards.
  • Managing inventory to meet company cost of goods sold (COGS) standards.
  • Providing support to the management team and General Manager in making operational decisions.
  • Maintaining reports and records in accordance with company standards and Bahraini regulations.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of the building and equipment through proper operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Taking responsibility for cash handling during all shifts, including bank deposits, and ensuring adherence to cash handling procedures.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Consistently demonstrating actions and behaviors that reflect Boddie-Noell Enterprises’ Vision and Values.
  • Performing other tasks as directed by management.

Qualification Standards:

  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and control systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Passion for restaurant operations.
  • Ability to manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge while promoting a culture of values.
