We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Chief Accountant to join our leading construction company in Oman. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the accounting department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
• Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Provide financial guidance and support to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and accounting best practices.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) or Business Administration (MBA) with a completed Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum of 12+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• GCC experience is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong background in accounting within the civil construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective leadership and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
