We are currently in the process of shortlisting candidates for a prestigious Shutdown Project in Oman. The project requires experienced Instrument Fitter with a strong background in Oil & Gas turnarounds. Job Description:

As an Instrument Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the Shutdown Project, ensuring the precise fitting of instruments to maintain the smooth operation of equipment and systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Instrument Fitting: Execute fitting activities related to various instruments used in the Oil & Gas Industry, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  2. Technical Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Instrumentation gained through at least 08 years of experience in large turnarounds within the Oil & Gas industry.
  3. Oil & Gas Instruments: Work with a wide range of instruments commonly used in the Oil & Gas sector, demonstrating proficiency in their installation, maintenance, and repair.
  4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and relevant procedures.
  5. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  6. Health, Safety & Environment: Adhere to all safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.

  2. Monthly Fixed Allowance: Non-OT category candidates will receive a monthly fixed allowance in addition to regular pay for any extra hours or days worked.
  3. Mobilization Period: The project mobilization period is from 15th January to 15th September 2023.
  4. Contract Duration: The project is expected to last between 1 to 2 months from the date of joining.
  5. GAMCA Medical Reimbursement: Selected candidates will be reimbursed for the GAMCA medical charges incurred in Muscat.
  6. Competitive Salary: The basic salary for the position ranges from 130 to 140 (RO) per month, with opportunities for overtime pay.
