We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team in Oman. The Estimation Engineer Job in Oman will be responsible for estimating electrical and overhead line (OHL) EPC projects in the oil and gas division. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified candidate with a strong background in estimation and relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities: Estimation Engineer Job in Oman
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical and OHL EPC projects in the oil and gas division.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements.
- Analyze project scope, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to gather necessary data for cost estimation.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare material and labor cost estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Prepare detailed project proposals and bid documents.
- Participate in bid evaluation and negotiation processes.
- Keep updated with industry trends, market rates, and new technologies in electrical and OHL projects.
- Provide support to project teams during the execution phase, as needed.
Requirements: Estimation Engineer Job in Oman
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. EEE) or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in estimation of electrical and OHL EPC projects in the oil and gas division.
- Strong knowledge of estimation techniques, cost analysis, and project management principles.
- Proficient in using estimation software and tools.
- Experience in Oman is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel as required.
