We are currently seeking a skilled Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control and at least 2 years of Gulf experience. As a Cost Control Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring project budgets, analyzing costs, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost control.
  • Track project expenses and review cost reports regularly.
  • Analyze cost data and provide cost forecasts to project managers.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost-efficient strategies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects stay within budgetary limits.
  • Review contracts and invoices to verify accuracy and compliance with budget.
  • Prepare cost variance reports and provide explanations for any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Ensure that project expenses are appropriately coded and recorded.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost control documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cost Control Engineer.
  • At least 2 years of Gulf experience is required.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in using cost control software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
