Job Description: Job Opening Sales Manager (Water Treatment Projects & Products)

A leading group of companies in Oman is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee the sales of water treatment projects and products. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, with extensive experience in sales within the water treatment industry. Experience in selling water treatment projects in the GCC region, especially in Oman, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sales and marketing operations to achieve business targets in a competitive environment.
• Develop sales strategies and reach out to unexplored market segments for business expansion.
• Coordinate with principals to ensure market support, set pricing policies, and resolve issues.
• Prepare quotations and tenders using supplier information, cost standards, and technical data.
• Handle government clients, prepare tender documents, and manage the pre-tender process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government and public sector clients.
• Organize marketing campaigns and develop a grassroots sales network to boost business growth.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10-12 years of experience in sales of water treatment projects and products.
• Proven experience in selling water treatment projects in the GCC region.
• Knowledge of water treatment products and market dynamics is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a dynamic sales environment.
• Experience in Oman is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: OMR 700 – 1000, depending on relevant experience.
• Additional benefits as per company policy.
