Job Description: Maintenance Engineer – Plastic Production
Join a leading manufacturing company in Oman for a long-term project as a Maintenance Engineer in Plastic Production, specializing in Injection Molding and Extrusion. We are seeking qualified candidates with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, specifically in Plastic Production Units, preferably in the PPR pipes and fittings industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding machines and extruders.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of PLCs, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics in a plastic production setting.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical systems issues.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and preventive maintenance schedules.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Plastic Production Units (Injection Molding/Extrusion), preferably in the PPR pipes and fittings industry.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, extruders, PLCs, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of 5 days per week, 9 hours per day, with the possibility of 3 hours of overtime if required.
- Age: 30 to 40 years.
