Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for precision and a knack for managing complex financial operations? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily Financial Transactions: Execute daily accounting tasks, including ledger maintenance, financial data compilation, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial records.
- Business Transactions: Manage and record business transactions with external parties, related entities, associates, and intergroup entities for various financial activities such as revenue, LC purchases, expenses, and transfers.
- Document Management: Prepare important documents such as Tender Bonds, Contractors All Risk Policies, Vehicle insurances, and other relevant paperwork to facilitate smooth business operations.
- Bank Liaison: Collaborate with banks for Letter of Credits, Telex Transfers, Bid Bonds, Guarantees, Amendments, Cancellations, Managerial Cheques, Demand Drafts, credit cards, and Standing Orders.
- Audit Management: Conduct surprise audits and statutory audits for affiliated entities to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Reports and Analysis: Prepare and summarize sales, accounts receivable, and inflow reports, analyzing variances to provide insights for informed decision-making.
- Insurance and Bond Management: Maintain performance bonds and insurance files, interim certificates, and correspondences with banks. Issue vehicle insurance policy amendments and renewals as required.
- Payroll Processing: Manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation to employees.
- HR Support: Assist the HR department in reconciling new employee onboarding and departures, as well as managing records related to telephone and traffic fines.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare annual financial statutory reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets with site-wise revenue and expenses, and bank reconciliations. Collaborate with external auditors for accurate financial assessments.
- Team Collaboration: Report to and support the Finance Controller and Business Development Manager with financial data and insights.
Qualifications: Senior Accountant Job in Bahrain
- Bachelor’s (BCom) or Master’s (MCom) degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional work experience in Bahrain, demonstrating expertise in financial management and accounting.
